Non-Returnable Product Categories

The following product categories are strictly non-returnable due to hygiene, customization, or final-sale reasons:

  • Jewellery & Hair Accessories β€” earrings, nose rings, bangles, hairpins (hygiene)
  • Customised & Stitched Garments β€” any item tailored to your measurements
  • Blouses stitched to your size
  • Masks and intimate wear
  • Sale items discounted above 40% (labelled "Final Sale")
  • Combo & Bundle deals unless the entire combo is returned together

Follow these simple steps to initiate your exchange request:

Approval & Instructions
Our team reviews your request within 24 business hours and sends a confirmation email with exchange approval and detailed packing instructions.

Pack the Item Securely
Pack the item in its original packaging with all tags attached. Include a note inside the package with your Order ID and exchange request details. Do not ship before getting our approval.

Ship the Item
For size/style exchanges: reverse pickup is arranged by us (β‚Ή150 charge deducted from store credit). For defective/wrong items: we arrange FREE pickup via Bluedart or Delhivery. Keep the courier receipt safely.

Quality Check & Exchange Dispatch
Once we receive and inspect the item (1–2 business days), your exchange item is dispatched within 3–5 business days. You'll receive a new tracking number via email and WhatsApp.

Defective or Wrong Items

We sincerely apologise if you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item. This is our highest priority to resolve.

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery by emailing photos to support@bighand99.shop or WhatsApp +91 9713921016.
  • Attach clear photos of: (a) the defect or wrong item, (b) the shipping label, (c) the packaging.
  • We will review and respond within 12 business hours.
  • Resolution options: Free replacement with priority dispatch OR full refund to original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Reverse pickup is arranged FREE of charge by us.

🌍 For international exchanges, the item must reach our Bhopal warehouse within 90 days of original delivery. We recommend using a tracked service and sharing the tracking number with us.

Packaging Guidelines for Returns

Improper packaging can lead to exchange rejection. Please follow these guidelines carefully:

  • Use the original polybag or box the item arrived in, if possible.
  • Wrap delicate items (lehengas, sarees with embroidery) in tissue paper to prevent snags.
  • Ensure all tags are still attached to the garment, not just inside the package.
  • Include a handwritten note inside: Order ID, your name, phone number, and reason for exchange.
  • Do not use staples or sharp objects that may damage the fabric.
  • For bridal sets: all components (lehenga, dupatta, blouse) must be returned together.
  • Seal the package securely with tape on all sides.
⚠️ Items damaged due to improper packaging during return transit will not be eligible for exchange. Pack carefully!

Store Credit

If your requested exchange size/style is out of stock, we will offer Store Credit equal to the value of the returned item.

  • Store Credit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  • Can be used on any product across bighand99.shop.
  • Store Credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Any balance unused after 6 months will expire without refund.
  • Store Credit can be combined with discount codes for additional savings.

Special Policy for Bridal Orders

We understand the significance of bridal purchases. Our bridal exchange policy has some additional provisions:

  • Bridal lehengas above β‚Ή15,000 get an extended 21-day exchange window (vs standard 14 days).
  • A dedicated bridal styling consultant is assigned for all orders above β‚Ή20,000 β€” contact us before ordering to confirm shade, size, and customizations.
  • Custom bridal pieces (tailored to your measurements, custom embroidery, custom colour) are strictly non-exchangeable unless defective.
  • We strongly recommend using our WhatsApp consultation service before placing bridal orders to avoid size/shade mismatches.
  • Bridal items should be inspected at the time of delivery in presence of the delivery executive if possible.

Q: Can I exchange an item I received as a gift?
Only the original purchaser can initiate an exchange. The order ID and registered email/phone are required.

Q: What if my preferred size is out of stock?
We will offer Store Credit valid for 6 months. If new stock arrives within that period, you can use the credit to purchase.

Q: Can I exchange a sale item?
Items discounted up to 40% are eligible for size exchange only (no style change). Items discounted above 40% are Final Sale and not exchangeable.

Q: What if the courier loses my return shipment?
If we arranged the reverse pickup and the item is lost, we take full responsibility. If you shipped independently, please file a claim with your courier and share the tracking details with us.

Q: Can I do multiple exchanges on the same order?
Each order item can be exchanged once only. Please choose carefully after the first exchange.

Q: Is the β‚Ή150 reverse pickup charge refundable?
The β‚Ή150 reverse pickup charge for size/style exchanges (customer's choice) is non-refundable. No charge applies for defective or wrong items.

Q: How do I track my exchange order?

Q: What if I ordered the wrong size by mistake?
